song, that is!
After going back and forth on it, I decided to run Baystate with music. My main reason? I have been having some low back pain ( lets just say that I am using a lot of denial on this one, yeah, I know, pretty evolved:) and if that will give me problems during the race, it may be a loooong day.
So, here are 15 songs from my playlist.
1. Laid, by James
2. Kick drum heart, by The Avett Brothers
3. It's true that we love one another, by The White Stripes
4. Lawyers, Guns and Money, by Whiskeytown
5. I won't back down, by Tom Petty
6. I'm a mother, by The Pretenders
7. Ain't that pretty at all, by Pixies
8. Metal firecracker, by Lucinda Williams
9. I'll do it anyway, by The Lemonheads
10. Try (Just a little bit harder), by Janis Joplin.
11. 'Till I collapse, by Emminem
12. Tunnel of Love, by Dire Straits
13. Ain't Gonna Suck Itself, by Cracker
14. Welfare Music, by The Bottle Rockets
15. I want you, by Bob Dylan
Now it's your turn! What do you have on your playlist?

I always include Will.i.ams "Traveling song" on my playlists. Not sure why, but it helps me cruise. (pretty sure its on the madagascar soundtrack :)
"I won't back down", by Tom Petty is on my playlist too.
I have a bunch of Sugarland on my iPod right now, "Down in Mississippi" and "We Run" :-D are amongst the most played.
I need some new songs for my iPod, I'm so sick of what is on there. I think I'll look into a few of yours, thanks!! I think one that is kinda inspiring is "Beautiful Day" by U2.
Sometimes we have to put ourselves in denial mode!
Miracle Mile by the Verve.
One of my athletes gave me this one... Rockstar by PrimaJ. It's a fun one!
George Michael's "Freedom 90". I think of this as my running anthem. I have my own running playlist of 15 or so songs that are permanently on my iPod, but in addition to that I almost always have some Nikka Costa, Michael Franti, and Miranda Lambert on there as well.
Like a G6, Far East Movement
i'll be wearing a racemenu singlet and bright pink oakleys. maybe we can finally meet. best of luck to you!!!! weather looks good!!! :-) i'm actually not even sure what your name is!
I like "pump it" from the Black eyed peas
Sorry, this is REALLY bad and horrible but you MUST try a Katy Perry song. She is so upbeat and I've been training to her music since August. It's in my "pace" now!
I agree, some of Katie Perry's songs are great. Offsrping, Ramstein, Vanessa Mae, and System of a Down are great for motivation when the run gets tough.
