OK, Julie tagged me to write 6 things that you may not know about me. Hm, sometimes I wonder how much you do know about me. I often feel like I can read between the lines in various blog posts, and I am sure you can too. But, here are 6 things that you surely do not know:
1. My father was Romania's champion at ski jumping in the early 70s.
2. My husband and I met on a blind date. One month after our first date I told the friend who introduced us that I will marry him. We got married one year later. We will celebrate 10 in July.
Oh, and I had purple hair when we first met.
3. My husband and I have dark hair and brown eyes. Petru has blond hair and blue eyes. I was asked on many occasions if I were the babysitter.
4. If possible, I would go back to school and stay in school forever.
5. The older I get, the better I get along with my mom. Sometimes I feel I don't deserve her!
6. I think time is precious and I have little tolerance for wasting time.
I am going to tag everyone who follows my blog! Common, share a little!

awesome job on feb!!!
love the random things :) love the purple hair!!! we need a pic of that :)
Aron, thank GOD I don't have one:)
You could always go purple for week, maybe your husband would like it :-)
I would be a student forever too. Oh wait, I still am a student.
wow! GREAT month! AMAZING
Great stats for February. Keep it going!
I agree with you about being a student. I've gone back to school twice during my "career", both times for graduate degrees that have nothing to do with my career. I did it just "for fun".
Hope your stats are as good or better in March!
Thanks so much for sharing a little more about you!! You had a great list!! I am the same with my mom...as the years seem to pass the better we get along:) How very cool that you met your hubby on a blind date...I also could see you being asked if you were the babysitter because of how young you look:) I also can see myself taking classes forever....I love learning and actually still take classes at the University of Minnesota:)
You most likely take after your father who was a wonderful athelete!! Happy Monday:)
I think we need pictures of the purple hair!
I agree with your comment about the Boston training! In our track club alone, there are about 5 different training programs and philosophies going on and it's still okay! It all depends on our time, our issues, our energy levels...we all get there and make it through the race with a smile though!
congrats on the new weekly-mileage-pr!
wowza's, purple hair. yep we def need a pic of this :) i don't believe that you could possibly not have one! guess you'll have to re-dye ;)
very cool about your dad!
Wow that's almost 50 miles a week! Cool beans ;)
I don't think I'd want to be a student forever. I might be biased though. When I was in school it was like working 100 hours a week. Seriously. I love learning, but it was an absolutely exhausting environment.
I would love to see you with purple hair!
oooh, so agree with your #5- getting along better w/your mom as we get older. I'm wondering for me if it's the kid factor.
and agree w/the other peeps- show the purple hair!;-)
Wow. Very cool. You have good genes. Moms are great. They are to be treasured for sure.
those are interesting little facts...love that. How amazing that your Dad was ski jumping champ!!! I also love what you said about your Mom...that's really great. Thanks for sharing.
oh yeah...excellent stats for the Month!! impressive!
I love the foot in the door tequnique! Very clever. I also love your thought process. Your very linear. I like linear!
You know it's true love when your mate doesn't care what crazy color your hair is :) Very cool about your dad and how you feel about your mom!
What a great month!
Congrats on the great mileage and complete and utter lack of injuries in Feb. I have a new found appreciation for that injury thing myself these days. Purple hair huh? The first time I met my wife was at an alternative dance bar. She had on combat boots (as did I) and I believe my hair was quite a bit longer than hers. We had our 10 year anniversary last November and took a 10 day cruise.
Best of luck in March and thanks for being so kind on my blog!
Great job in Feb. and love your six notes. How cool about your dad!
196M eh? I rode that far in a month once! You are ace ... though not sure if the purple hair was ace or not????? Ok, I better think of six things to write too. Paul :-)
