PR by 15 minutes
Horrible weather - legs and arm were numb after mile 20, so I could no speed up as planned.
Felt AMAZING the entire race, meaning I could have gone faster in better weather.
Next time!

YES!! Congrats, Ana-Maria!! Sounds like the weather was absolutely miserable; but way to tough it out and snag the PR! 15 minutes is HUGE! So proud of you!! I'm betting those crazy conditions will make for a very interesting race report! Can't wait to read it . . . but for now, congrats again!! You're amazing! :)
I was thinking about all you "Bay Staters" today with this horrible weather. Very nice PR!
Wow, that's fantastic! Sorry the weather was bad, but that's still AWESOME that you got a PR! I can't wait to see what you do next time.

Wow...congrats on the PR! Way to hang tough in the cold weather. That is awesome! Amazing job!
Wow, fantastic job! I don't know what exactly you had weather wise but I saw the Patriots game on TV and it looks like it's the middle of winter out there! A 15 minute PR is huge, you've worked really hard and earned it, enjoy some R&R now!
YEAH!! I'm so happy all of that HARD WORK paid off and you are so tough, gutting the weather and pushing so hard! Wow, I'm inspired. Can't wait to hear more and thanks for the well-wishes, I feel better already!
What an awesome run you had. Top 10 in your age group (or was that for overall women?) I got excited to see your name up there! Way to run on numb legs. You are A ROCKET.

That's fantastic!! I knew you would pull off something amazing! Can't wiat to hear all the details. Great job!
WOW! Like others, I was sooo convinced you were going to have a stellar race. But this result is amazing. Top 10 in your category. Crikey!!! You must be walking on air (or wishing you could ... ouch, ouch!)
This will be one heck of a race report. You have made my day.
Well done.
thanks for your continued support. i said one and i'm done but we'll see. what a day it was, the weather was unreal. great job with your time!
ummm, did you just destroy that marathon and your PR. I believe you did.
great job! of course, this means all of your races should be in freezing temps.
Just found your blog. Nice race! I have many questions for you about Boston. I BQed a few weeks ago at St. George. Any course info you have would be super. Also, hotel recommendations. REally anything you have to offer about it would be fantastic.
That's an awesome time, congrats! Found your blog and will enjoy reading up on your adventures! I will be at Boston 2010, too. Maybe we can hook up. Enjoy the rest/healing/refueling time post marathon!!
