You all know about my problems with blisters. After my marathon, only 2 of my toes were blister free, and folks would give me looks of pity after glancing at my toes. Dan suggested I purchase Injinji socks (and he just posted a review a few days ago), and I ordered them a week ago. The socks individually wrap each toe, just like gloves wrap each finger. My 3 pairs arrived today, and I got to test them on my 6 miler this afternoon. Putting them on was a bit awkward, and I did not like the feeling of the sock material between my toes. Plus, even though I ordered the smallest size, my toes did not completely fill each of the toe compartments (I know, I have been cursed with skinny feet). However, as soon as I put my Asics on, my feet felt great, and I forgot about my previous concerns. The run went well, and I had NO BLISTERS after it, a complete miracle. Folks, the only way for me not to have blisters during the short runs is to wrap each toe into a bandaid. For long runs, forget about it, blisters are guaranteed. Will see how these socks will hold during the long runs, but for now, I am sold!
Oh, and check out how pretty they are. Injinji, you can always send me free samples, but even if you don't, I love you!

Ana, they feel a little awkward the first few times you wear them but after that they feel great!
Ah! I LOVE injini's!! That's almost all I wear anymore. I have to make sure I have a clean pair before any long run or race. I swear by them and have gotten other's hooked on them as well.

you poor thing, i had no idea you were so blister-prone! i've never tried injinjis myself, but i've wanted to just to wear them with flip flops (lol). fortunately i don't have too many problems with blisters from running :)
glad they're working out for you!
blisters can ruin a run, so I'm glad they gave you a blister free run! I hope they hold up on the long run; but regardless those colors are awesome!
Ooh, those are indeed some nice-looking socks! I have been having some problems with blisters on the tips of my toes with my most recent pair of shoes--so I might just have to try these out. Thanks for the review!
Wow I can't imagine wearing those socks. But I guess to avoid blister we will try almost anything. I have cut out parts of my shoes before. Hope it keeps working.
haha i remember wearing these things in elementary school! well, maybe a more cottony polyester, not suitable for running type. :) hope they continue to work for you!
my running issue was chaffing but body glide seems to be helping. glad you found something that works for you. Happy Mother's day
So great that they work for you!
Yes, they're a little strange, but you do what you have to :)
Love the colors! And if they keep you blister-free - even better!!
